Animas Surgical Hospital welcomes the public to a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its new campus, Animas Surgical Center at Escalante. The event will be held on Tuesday, June 22, with ribbon-cutting at 5:30 PM and a tour to follow. Guests will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the new ambulatory surgery center’s two operating rooms, sterile processing department, perioperative bays, and more. We’ll have hands-on demos and drawings for door prizes from local businesses.
The Animas Surgical Center at Escalante (ASCE) is located on the first floor of the Rocket Medical Plaza Building at 1266 Escalante Drive in Durango. The 5,000 square foot facility is Durango’s only multispecialty ambulatory surgery center in Durango. Animas Surgical Center at Escalante is the third campus in the Animas Surgical Hospital family; other sites include Animas Surgical Hospital at Rivergate and Animas Urgent Care, located on Camino del Rio. Animas Surgical Hospital employs approximately 160-165 employees across all of its campuses
