An Alaskan native, Rob Hill has spent most of his career practicing emergency medicine. Originally trained as a teacher, Rob subsequently graduated from the physician assistant program at the University of Colorado. His first medical job was in the mountain town of Nederland, Colorado.
Between Nederland and Durango, Rob lived briefly in Saipan, a small tropical island in the Pacific. Rob lives in Durango with his wife, teenage son, and terrier. He spends his free time mountain-biking, skiing, and paddleboarding.
