Dr. Nicole Pinkerton is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She earned her undergraduate degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. She completed her residency at the University of New Mexico Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Albuquerque.
After completing her training in New Mexico, she and her husband relocated to Colorado. She was in a private OB/GYN practice for 9 years in Colorado Springs prior to moving to Durango in 2010. She has since chosen to limit her practice to gynecology, which allows her to focus on womens health and surgical treatments of gynecologic issues.
Dr. Pinkerton enjoys the relationships she is able to create with her patients. She is interested in optimizing your health through disease prevention, early detection, and shared decision making. She will provide a comprehensive discussion of your medical and surgical treatment options for abnormal Pap tests, abnormal vaginal bleeding, fibroids, uterine polyps, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, and urinary incontinence.
Married with two active boys, Dr. Pinkerton is grateful that she is able to spend time with her family in this beautiful place.
