Lance Hamlin, PA-C

Lance Hamlin joined Vital Health in 2022. He received a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then attended PA school at Saint Louis University. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Lance spent the first five years of his career in Billings, Montana assisting in neurosurgical procedures. He arrived in Durango in 2005 and has assisted in spinal, trauma, and gynecological surgeries.  Lance is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Colorado Association of Physician Assistants.

Lance and his wife have two children. He enjoys the abundant camping, hiking, running, mountain biking, and winter sports with his family here in the Durango area.
