Located just one mile from downtown Durango in La Plata County, Animas Surgical Hospital is Durango’s premier medical facility, offering patient-focused, personalized care in an intimate environment.

Patients also come to us from nearby Montezuma, Archuleta, and San Juan counties. And since Durango is a tourist attraction, our urgent care clinic and emergency departments often receive patients from outside the Four Corners area.

The hospital is located along the Animas River, just off Highway 3. Parking is available in front of the hospital and in the underground parking garage. The front desk is open Monday - Thursday, 5:30 am – 5:30 pm and Friday 7:30 am – 4 pm.
