Animas Surgical Hospital is committed to providing high-value health care while serving the diverse needs of those within our community. Our financial assistance program is in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), Senate Bill 14-50, Hospital Financial Assistance, and the Hospital Discounted Care Act, which went into effect September 1, 2022.

While we strive to determine eligibility for charity care before services are rendered, our dedicated patient accounting team is available to assist you with questions regarding your bill at any time during your hospital stay or throughout the billing process.

Hospital Discounted Care Patient Rights

If you need help paying your bill(s), you may qualify for financial assistance through the Hospital Discounted Care Act. You may qualify for discounted care if your income is low. Please call the Hospital Discount Care Technician at 970-385-2386 to set up an appointment to see if you qualify.

You will need to complete our financial assistance application and share all information regarding your health benefits, income, assets, bank statements, tax returns, and all other financial income information.
