Larry Suazo, DDS

After graduating dental school from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1987, Dr. Suazo was commissioned in the US Navy as a dental officer before starting his residency in Pediatric Dentistry at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado.  Upon completion, he moved to Durango as its first Pediatric Dentist!  Several years later, he partnered with Douglas Holmes, a pediatric dentist in Farmington, New Mexico and Animas Pediatric Dental Group was developed for the two locations.  Dr. Pinkerton joined the practice in 2009 and in 2011 purchased the Durango location to develop Durango Kids. Dr. Suazo continued to care for patients in Farmington.  The opportunity to return to Durango presented with the new office and he is elated to join Durango Kids Pediatric Dentistry as a new provider!
