Advanced Technology Lenses

With Animas Surgical Hospital’s surgical equipment, doctors can remove cataracts, correct for astigmatism, and reduce the need for glasses in one procedure using advanced technology lenses such as Toric astigmatism-correcting intraocular lenses (IOLs) or Alcon ReSTOR Multifocal IOLs. Toric lenses have astigmatism power incorporated into the lens optics and provide the most precise way to reduce or eliminate astigmatism as they correct myopia or hyperopia.

These IOLs are for cataract and refractive lens patients with pre-existing astigmatism who want to reduce reliance on glasses for distance vision. Animas Surgical  Hospital surgeons use the latest ReSTOR and Symfony Multifocal IOLs to correct presbyopia and reduce dependence on glasses over a range of distances.

Advanced Cataract Surgery with ORA Technology

During cataract surgery, our surgeons can make use of an intraoperative aberrometer, better known as an ORA. Bladeless Femtosecond Laser Cataract Surgery

The LenSx laser allows your surgeon to plan and perform a procedure that's completely customized for both of your eyes, assisting your surgeon in achieving high-level spectacle-free vision.
